The Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers had a boxing match hockey game yesterday, and the teams showed just how much they like each other.
Penguins star Sidney Crosby was leveled earlier in the game by a cross check to the back by Brayden Schenn. In hockey, a star player doesn’t get hit like that without a response. So towards the end of the game, Penguins coach Dan Bylsma put his fourth line on the ice and a huge brawl broke out after one of the Flyers players was leveled on a clean hit by Joe Vitale. Arron Asham hit everyone, several players were ejected, and these teams are probably going to face each other in round 1 of the Stanley Cup playoffs. If you’re a hockey fan, that should make you a really happy fan.
