Father's Day is coming up on June 17, and if you are a dad of young kids (or the wife of that dad) you will probably be buying your own gifts that your kids will wrap for you. This year, get yourself something meaningful from your kids.

A reader recently sent us I Love You All The Time, which is about a father's love for his children. The message is that he loves them always; in good and bad times, when they listen and when they don't.

The simplicity of the book, along with the illustrations, helps children to memorize it quickly and the hope is that the message will sink in, and stick with them for their lifetime.

The author of the book, Michael Wick, had this to say about the writing:

A lot of the scenarios in the book are things that really happen in my family. The way the kids are sleeping in the illustration is how they actually sleep a lot of the time. They sleep crazy. When I check on them before I go to bed at night and I see them, I feel such intense love in my heart. I wanted to record that.

There are also so many little things in the book that are "us". The kids love ice cream. Jason wears his orange hat all the time. Liza loves drawing pictures and hanging them on the wall. They love the swings. And I love them. I want my kids to know I always love them even if they make a big mistake. Starting now, until they are old, I want them to know I will always love them no matter what happens.

The book contains a great message for kids and families, it won't take you four hours to read it to them, and it is written from a dad's perspective so this book is Bro Council, Approved. As a bonus, it's always good to support the small, self-published authors. Check out an image from the book below, and you can buy your own copy here on Amazon.
