Beards Save Lives, Fake But Awesome

Beards Save Lives, Fake But Awesome

By Ray Abel Stray Monkey Stuff

The Duffel Blog is a website about military life that has this in their “About Us” section:

Legal Crap

The content of this site is parody. No composition should be regarded as truthful, and no reference of an individual, company, or military unit seeks to inflict malice or emotional harm.

Somehow, people keep thinking the article they posted about how beards saves lives in the US military is true. Even with nuggets of wisdom like “Furthermore, any females able to grow facial hair are encouraged to do so as well.” Nice work, Duffel Blog…I think it’s hilarious.

Although this study is not true, we think we at Stray Monkey may commission our own study about how beards save lives. We know they do. They protect you from cold, they scare away predators, and Chuck Norris gleans his power from his beard.

Actually, there’s our study. Stray Monkey proves that beards save lives, scientifically. Print that, New York Times!
