A Surprisingly Nostalgic Internet Explorer Commercial

If you grew up in the 90’s, the shoes you see above probably make you think back to the days when your shoes had pumps, your fanny had a pack, and your pockets had Tamagotchis.

Microsoft is trying to garner support for it’s venerable browser with a new advertisement that takes a look at what was popular when Internet Explorer launched on a public computer for the first time on August 16, 1995. This is the kind of screen you would have seen on that summer day while you were cruising the web on your high speed 56k modem:

So break out your Pogs, dust off your troll doll, and have a Lunchable while you wax nostalgic over the video below.
