Brocouncil.com Rebrands as Stray Monkey to Reflect New Focus on Fun and Adventure

Pittsburgh, PA - Brocouncil.com, originally founded by Mark Cuban and Ray Abel in 2012, has rebranded as Stray Monkey to reflect the company's new focus on fun and adventure. The rebranding includes a new logo, website design, and content strategy.

After launch, the original brand quickly established itself as a go-to resource focused on news and reviews, earned an investment on Shark Tank, and appeared in media outlets like ESPN, Yahoo, ABC's The Bachelor, and NFL.com. However, as the traffic grew, the demographics shifted as well. When the website first launched, its audience was primarily male. However, over the past few years, the website has made a conscious effort to attract a more diverse audience, and as a result, the website's user base of over 500,000 visitors per month is now 52% female and 48% male.

"We realized that our audience was looking for more than just male-centric content," said Ray Abel, CEO of Stray Monkey. "They wanted a website that celebrated adventure, humor, and living life to the fullest. We listened to our audience and decided to rebrand as Stray Monkey to better reflect the spirit of our community."

The new website, straymonkey.com, will feature a wide variety of content, including travel guides, gear reviews, and experiences. The company will also launch a YouTube channel to showcase its fun and adventurous spirit.

"We're excited to embark on this new chapter and can't wait to see where the journey takes us," said Ray. "We hope our audience will join us as we explore new places, try new things, and create a community of like-minded individuals who want to make the most of life."
