It’s been a good year for us at Stray Monkey. The re-launch of the site has gone really well, and I thank you for your continued support. Our viewership continues to rise, and it’s all happening by your word of mouth. You truly are, Stray Monkey.

As you may know, our mission is to provide a fun, humorous, and manly website that your girlfriend or wife won’t get offended by if she looks at your search history. What you may not know is that in our business plan, I included a clause that 10% of all of our profits will go to a non-profit or charitable organization that we believe matches up with our vision and ideals. This year, we decided to donate our profits to Hope For The Warriors. Their mission is to “enhance quality of life for U.S. service members and their families nationwide who have been adversely affected by injuries or death in the line of duty. Hope For The Warriors actively seeks to ensure that the sacrifices of wounded and fallen warriors and their families are never forgotten nor their needs unmet.” They also have a great rating at Charity Navigator so we feel confident that our donation will go to good use. In fact, 95% of our donation goes directly to programs that support wounded service members, their families, and families of the fallen.

It should go without saying that what we do at Stray Monkey is nothing compared to what our military members do each day. They are sacrificial, selfless, and patriotic. In the spirit of that selflessness I’m amending the terms of our plan for this year and giving 110% of the profits we made to Hope For The Warriors. The extra 10% comes from a personal contribution from our staff.

We will continue to update the site during the holidays, and we look forward to the next year. Please continue spreading the word about Stray Monkey! We can’t do it without you.
